Focus Features (the folks who brought us BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN and MILK) released the trailer last week for the new Lisa Cholodenko film, THE KIDS ARE ALL RIGHT. Regular QMovieBlog readers will recall our raving enthusiasm for this movie, which premiered at Sundance in January and which we have come to describe as “the lesbian BROKEBACK” — yes, this will be the most widely distributed lesbian-themed mainstream movie in history, and, like that beloved yet sad gay cowboy flick, it has major stars in the gay roles: Julianne Moore and Annette Bening as lesbian moms whose teenage kids (played by Josh Hutcherson and Mia Wasikowska) decide they want to meet their sperm donor, Mark Ruffalo.
