“My favorite LGBT movie is BOUND. Because the filmmakers came to me and told me they were inspired by me to make it. Because they asked me to be their sex consultant. Because I finally got to make the sex scene I’d wanted to see my whole life. Because we watched it premiere at the Castro with 1500 dykes and all screamed our heads off. Because it’s based on my own sex life and it’s just a hoot to see “me” played by Jennifer Tilly. I know it’s an ego-centric answer, but what else could even come close?
