We’re always trying to expand the definition of queer cinema. The new Christina Ricci vehicle, Penelope looks like a prime fresh example of that unique sub-genre of: misfit-movies-with-special-resonance-for-LGBT-audiences. Ricci stars as a girl born with a pig’s snout for a nose and is ostracized accordingly. Co-starring James McAvoy and Reese Witherspoon and Peter DEATH AT A FUNERAL Dinklage.
