No on 8 Protests in Los Angeles (Nov 6, 2008)

“Thursday morning, the news reported that there would be a small press conference outside the Mormon Temple in West Los Angeles. Eight hours, 20 miles and about 4,000 people later it turned into a protest that went from Westwood, to Beverly Hills, to Century City, to Hollywood and back to West Hollywood. This protest was covered all day on the local news channels, and my friends across the country emailed me to say they saw it on the national newscasts. It was completely unplanned and spontaneous, motivated by people who were just not going to take it any more (which included many straight people!).” Read more on JD’s blog and watch the amazing video above.
