“My favorite is LONGTIME COMPANION. There is a scene when Bruce Davison and his boyfriend in the film see a “young cute guy” walk by and they both turn their heads at the same time. It showed me how gay men who are coupled are different from straight folks. Their relationship was so close and tender, and they showed up for each other till the end. It was so rare and wonderful. I just loved this film. It has a very special place in my heart.”
