Expected celebrity guests at this year’s fest include: British novelist Sarah Waters (who penned the Opening Night lesbian drama, AFFINITY); the Reverend Troy Perry (subject of the documentary, CALL ME TROY); artist Don Bachardy (subject of the documentary CHRIS & DON: A LOVE STORY, about his relationship with the legendary Christopher Isherwood); Guinevere Turner (star of the new lesbian drama, DON’T GO and writer-director of the short LATE); from SORDID LIVES: THE TV SERIES, director Del Shores and stars Margaret Cho, Beth Grant and Jason Dottley; Ally Sheedy (star of STEAM); the members of queer punk band Pansy Division (subjects of: LIFE IN A GAY ROCK BAND) and Academy Award winning director Debra Chasnoff (with IT’S STILL ELEMENTARY).
