Unspooling a massive line-up of films from February 27th though March 9th, this year’s Cinequest Film Festival has its share of LGBT fare. Flix to look out for include: SHELTER ME (RIPARO) starring Maria de Madeiros (HENRY & JUNE) and the stunning Antonia Liskova as lesbian lovers; GOODBYE BABY, the story of a high school graduate who moves in with her gay brother in NYC hoping to become a stand up comic; RUBY BLUE, a British drama starring Bob Hoskins written and directed by Jan Dunn (GYPO); and KARL ROVE, I LOVE YOU an unusual documentary starring out gay actor Dan Butler (Frasier) exploring his feelings about Bush’s former senior advisor.
