Enjoying a summer holiday at the seashore, Sarah invites her friend Adrien (Michel Blanc), a middle-aged doctor, who brings his handsome young protégé Manu (Johan Libereau). Documentary About Lesbian Nominated for Oscar
A few hours after being nominated for an Oscar for her short documentary, FREEHELD, director-producer Cynthia Wade was interviewed by GLAAD’s Damon Romine at the Queer Lounge in Park City. FREEHELD tells the tragic story of Detective Lieutenant Laurel Hester as she spends the final year of her life fighting cancer and the New Jersey Police Department policy that will not allow her to transfer her pension to her domestic partner, Stacie Andree.
